百川學士學位學程」秉持「有容」、「廣納百川」的精神，透過特殊選才的管道，甄選「跨域學習」、「批判」、「創新」、「領導統御」、「自主學習」等能力或有特殊專長之年輕學子，並突破現有特定學系課程規範的窠臼，以不分系、跨域學習及實作為特色，規劃跳脫傳統學系框架的全新學習體制，並鼓勵學生自主設計學習計畫。
The Arete Honors Program upholds the spirit of “inclusiveness” and “embracing a hundred rivers.” Through a special selection process, it aims to identify young students with abilities or special expertise in “interdisciplinary learning,” “critical thinking,” “innovation,” “leadership,” and “self-directed learning.” This program breaks free from the constraints of existing specific department curriculum regulations, featuring characteristics of interdisciplinary learning and practical application. It plans to establish a new learning system that deviates from traditional departmental frameworks and encourages students to design their own learning plans.
